Work Keys assessments are offered upon need and request in student group sessions through partnership with our local Work Force Center, at no cost to students. School counselors make arrangements for a student group Work Keys exam administration; speak to your counselor about Work Keys exam opportunities as well as an option to access Work Keys practice curriculum to prepare for the exams.
The WorkKeys info below is from Colorado Department of Education's Graduation Guidelines website.
Also, see the ACT WorkKeys website.
ACT WorkKeys is an assessment that tests students’ job skills in applied reading, writing, mathematics and Essential Skills. Scores are based on job profiles that help employers select, hire, train, develop and retain a high-performance workforce. Students who score at the bronze level (at least 3) in Applied Math, Graphic Literacy and Workplace Documents earn the ACT’s National Career Readiness Certificate.
Students must score at least a "3" or bronze level in ALL THREE ASSESSMENTS in order to demonstrate career and college readiness. Businesses recognize ACT's National Career Readiness Certificate, not individual tests.
