Montrose County School District's Career and College Readiness Program, designed for grades 6-12, is a comprehensive approach to preparing secondary students for the dynamic challenges of the modern world. Anchored by the Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) process, facilitated through Major Clarity and personalized counseling, students embark on a journey of self-discovery and academic exploration. The program includes a diverse array of offerings, including the Career Pathways Program, guiding students towards career trajectories aligned with their passions and abilities, alongside immersive Career and Technical Education initiatives fostering hands-on learning experiences. Concurrent Enrollment empowers learners to accrue college credits at no cost during their high school tenure, while the Certify 4 Success initiative facilitates the acquisition of invaluable industry credentials at no cost. Infused with rigorous academic coursework, the program ensures students meet Colorado's Graduation Guideline Requirements in Reading, Writing, Communicating (RWC), and Mathematics, laying a robust foundation for their future endeavors.
