MHS Agriculture Education

This program is designed to prepare students for career opportunities in one of six pathways of the AFNR industry. Students enrolled in the program will engage in classroom and laboratory learning, personal and leadership development through participation in the FFA Organization as well as work-based learning experiences through the SAE program.

MHS Construction Trades

A program that generally prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills in the building, inspecting, and maintaining of structures and related properties. May include instruction in masonry, carpentry, electrical and power transmission installation, building/construction finishing, management, inspection and other construction-related applications.

MHS Engineering

A program that generally prepares individuals to apply mathematical and scientific principles to solve a wide variety of practical problems in industry, social organization, public works, and commerce.

An instructional program in foods, nutrition, hospitality, and related services.

MHS Multimedia

Teacher: Rebecca Schwerdtfeger and Michelle Peelo

A program that focuses on the development, use, and regulation of new electronic communication technologies using computer applications and that prepares individuals to function as developers and managers of digital communications media. Includes instruction in the principles of computers and telecommunications technologies and processes; design and development of digital communications; marketing and distribution; digital communications regulation, law, and policy; the study of human interaction with, and use of, digital media; and emerging trends and issues.

MHS Vehicle Maintenance

A program that generally prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills in the adjustment, maintenance, part replacement, and repair of vehicles and mobile equipment.
